The ART GALLERY
2020
As an artist, I've always been fascinated by forms and space and how different intersection of forms can create different interesting spaces along with the colors and materials applied.
For this project, I'm designing a space that takes into consideration of three elements: 1) Surface; 2) Solid; 3) Void. The space I envision is going to be an art gallery that have both enclosed and exposed areas to allow different lighting conditions to amplify the artworks. There will also be a pattern design that is applied to the surface of some areas to create an artistic relief or drama to the space.

Inspiration images and conceptual renderings are what a designer always does before coming up with a design concept. I have studied about some flowers and leaves and how they are layered on top each other to create some in-middle spaces allowing insects to travel through. The image on the left is my painting inspired for the project.
